how can i get back my old microsoft WORD files? I download the microsoft office 2007 which i am regretful?

word 2007 auto renames files with an aditional extention you’ll need to go into each document and save as word 97-office 2003 extention and then save them to a separate file folder away from word and my documents then remove 2007 and reload 2003

When I installed Office 2007, my old Office 2003 files were still there. I think that because you have installed Ofc 2007, when you open your old Ofc 2003 files, they are being converted to Ofc 2007. If you see the 2007 version of your Ofc 2003 files, try editting those files, and doing “Save as” and change the file type to .doc versus .docx.
