How do I safely delete Microsoft Office 2007 from my new laptop?

office 2007
Lewis asked:

Hi,

I have just bought a new laptop whcih came pre-loaded with Microsoft Office 2007 (Trial Version). I have a copy of Microsoft Office 2003 whcih I have also loaded, so can I delete the newer version safely, or is it best just to leave it on there?

Thanks

control panel-add or remove programmes and delete it there.

Some programmes conflict with each other so it might not work properly,

use which one you think is best

Yea you can delete there isn’t a problem with that. Just go to control panel, then click on add and remove programs. It will populate a list which should have microsoft office 2007 on it, just right click it and click on uninstall. Thats it!

Got to control Panel Add/Remove programs.
Or, and for future use, download CCleaner. In the tools section the is an Uninstaller facility.

click on the start button then control pannel. If you are using the classic view click on add remove programs and then select the one you want to uninstall. I know that 2007 can be a problem as it does not work in many puplic computers as most are still on 2003

If the trial version is up, then probably it is sensib e to remove, through Start, Control Panel, Programs (I assume you have Vista, otherwise, Start, Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs. If it is not up yet, I would recommend using it because although you may be happy with 2003 at the moment, 2007 really is so much better and is the way forward.
