I am wondering how can you deactivate a computer that has Office 2007 installed and used the product key. I been seeing people saying you can have up to three computers, but what if one computer is getting a new hard drive, how would I deactivate one of the three product key.

The MS Office 2007 CD allows installation of up to 5 computers, which I already did. I presume that installing it to another pc will require uninstalling the software from one of the pcs where it was installed. But I can’t do that without restoring the broken pc.

I can still access the hard drive of the broken pc via an ide usb connector.
