I have office 2007 enterprise that I installed on my new Vista laptop. The problem is I CAN’T open files that I had saved on previous documents of office from MS office 2003. I have a lot of things on my flash disk I can’t open and i really need these files but I can only open them on 2003. if I try to open them on office 2007 it opens as a wordpad document and most of it is giberish writing. How can I transfer office files from 2003 to 2007? please help.
Also i already know how to save files on office 2007 to be compatible with 2003 but I don’t know how to do it the opposite way.
Anyone, computer techs, geeks, or just smart computer people please help. Thank You ![]()

How to make a document on microsoft office 2007 work on microsoft 2003?
I have microsoft word 2007 on my computer and I have to present a powerpoint tomorrow at college.
However, they are running microsoft office 2003.
I know there’s a way to do it but it just won’t work.
I’ve tried going onto ’save settings’ and ticking the box entitled ’save files in 97-2003 format’ but this doesn’t work :(!
I can’t just turn up and say ‘my powerpoint doesn’t work, sorry!’
I did think my mom had microsoft 2003 on her laptop, in which case I was gonna simply type it up again onto hers, but she’s got 2007 too ![]()
Please help
